Great cabin!

We rented Bear Run cabin last minute. It was far and away the nicest cabin we’ve been to in the area. Super clean, well stocked, clean (new) hot tub, and great front porch with rocking chairs for relaxing. Check in was easy. Great location. The two queen beds upstairs in the loft were awesome for kids as usually they get stuck in the typical bunk bed set up in rentals. You could tell the owners listen to feedback (which I read reviews before booking) as they have added a large TV, internet and lots of utensils and other amenities. Thank you for a relaxing stay! We’ll be back.

This cabin was idyllic, providing opportunities, settings, and spaces which generated some lifelong memories for my sister’s and my families. Some of our favorite highlights were the swimming hole (and the “cave” leading to it!), the hammock swings on the spacious wraparound porch, and the plethora of amazing hiking trails on the property around it. When we needed to “get out”, the sky lift was only a few miles away, offering an incredible experience/view and a shortcut to get to the scenic natural bridge archway. All in all, it’s an experience we would recommend to any family looking for a relaxing and beautiful getaway.

We stayed at Cozy Creek and couldn’t have been happier. Looking for seclusion, serenity, and beauty? You’ll find it here. The cabin itself was just what you need. Clean, comfortable, and stocked with the essentials. There is a hot plate, toaster oven, fridge and hot and cold water. All the pots and pans and utensils needed are there too. We cooked every meal over an open fire next to the creek. Highly recommend bringing your cast iron cookware for that experience. While there are many attractions nearby, we found the trails onsite to be just perfect. Sitting on the front porch in a hammock chair, sipping a beverage and listening to the creek and the birds is relaxing as well. I HIGHLY recommend putting in your water shoes or flip flops and walking down the creek. Multiple small waterfalls and deeper pools at their base are cool and relaxing. Bring your organic biodegradable soap and just bathe right there in the creek. You won’t regret it since there is no shower. We loved every second of our time there and will return again. Also! Get your morning coffee fix at Daniel Boones and take a bag or two home with you. It’s locally roasted and absolutely delicious!
