I want to start this review by giving the highest marks to the staff at stay over. We had reservations for a weekend in October and one of our party had a father pass away unexpectedly 2 days before leaving. I called knowing that we had not purchased the trip insurance. The staff was so understanding- they helped us book a weekend in Nov instead for just a few more dollars! Wonderful customer service! The cabin was so cute and had plenty of room for the three of us. Definitely could have added a few more ppl if needed. Main bathroom is large. Plenty of towels for bathing and hot tub. Kitchen had a good amount of dishes and pans. I don’t know when the cabin was stayed in last but there were several dead flies and other bugs on the floor when we arrived. Could have easily been vacuumed. Also some of the utensils and the container holding the pods for the dishwasher looked like they were splattered in grease. This cabin was located perfectly for the hikes we wanted to take and seeing the deer outside each morning was wonderful.

My boyfriend and I were scheduled to stay in another Stayover property; however, the day we were to check in, we got upgraded to Whispering Winds due to an issue at the other property. The cabin was beautiful and newly remodeled. The location was private, even though there were cabins on both sides of us. The only downside was no bathroom upstairs with the master bedroom. Aside from that we absolutely loved our getaway! This was my boyfriend's first time at The Gorge and we are already discussing our next trip!

Cabin was clean and as described. The stairs to the loft are a little steep and I recommend an SUV or 4 wheel vehicle to manage the steep driveway. The hot tub felt great after a long day of hiking.
