If you choose to explore beyond the cabin, Natural Bridge State Resort Park and the iconic Nada Tunnel are just a 20-minute drive away. At the end of the day, retreat to the brand-new California King bed for a restful night’s sleep. Free onsite parking is provided. THE AREA Take a scenic drive along the Red River and enjoy breathtaking views of lush forests, rock outcroppings, and native wildlife such as deer and wild turkeys. Walk across the famous swinging bridge over the Red River for a truly memorable experience. Just 10 minutes away, explore the Red River Gorge Scenic Byway. Discover the Natural Bridge sandstone arch—estimated to be over one million years old—accessible by hiking or sky lift. Enjoy outdoor adventures such as kayaking, canoeing, fishing, and stand-up paddleboarding at nearby Mill Creek Lake. For thrill-seekers, experience ziplining at Cliffview or family-friendly options in Frenchburg. Southeast Mountain Guides offer world-class rock climbing, rappelling, and guided instruction. Dine locally at popular favorites including Miguel’s Pizza, Red River Rockhouse, Hop’s, and Sky Bridge Station. IMPORTANT DISCLOSURES These cabins are located in a heavily wooded, rural area. Weather conditions or power outages may occasionally occur and are beyond the host’s control. While every effort will be made to assist, refunds are not issued for circumstances outside of our control. Hot tubs are a highly requested amenity, and owners make every effort to keep them fully operational. However, due to the remote location, mechanical issues may occur that cannot be resolved immediately. No refunds are provided for hot tub outages, in accordance with the rental agreement. Pets are not permitted at this cabin. Pets are only allowed at designated pet-friendly properties with prior approval and applicable fees. Unauthorized pets will result in a minimum charge of $350 per pet. A $50 cancellation fee applies to all cancellations. No refunds are issued for cancellations within 14 days of check-in. Holiday bookings are non-refundable. Renters insurance may be purchased during booking for added protection. In the event of winter weather, refunds are not provided—however, we will accommodate late checkouts if road conditions are hazardous.

We really enjoyed our 2-night stay at Hillside Loft! The location was pretty convenient to the things we wanted to do, but we felt nice and secluded, tucked a couple miles back off any highway. The cabin had everything we needed for a comfortable stay (although an extra blanket would have been nice for "dynamic temperature" sleepers like my partner), and the hot tub was great after a day of hiking and climbing. No absurd fees, and no crazy "self-cleaning" checkout process like a lot of other cabins nowadays. The only other slight downside was lack of wifi, but we had cell service and didn't really need it since we were there to disconnect. We would happily stay here again!

The cabin was clean and cozy for me and my boyfriend. Everything was as described except that the comfy king size bed was hard to get into and get out because of its high height off the floor and the ceiling fan above the bed was close to our faces it seemed like. Otherwise a wonderful experience and good location near town.

The cabin was really nice. The road going up to the cabin needed repaired. Over all it was a nice stay
