If you have more than 2, please park at the local park & ride and carpool to the cabin. We enjoyed the cabin but had a little trouble finding it because we didn't realize we had to turn on the gravel road. Very clean and had everything you could need. It was very hard to find at dark because there were no street lights of any kind to see the actual Wagon Maker street sign. Also just a heads up that most of the deck and porch lights did not work. We bought coffe and it was in a can and we were flying so we couldn's take with us but we left it on the kitchen counter for the next guests. Thank you very much for such an enjoyable stay.

My husband and I enjoyed the peaceful property overlooking a meadow with a family of deer. It was a spotless retreat close to hiking adventures in the Red River Gorge as well as a nearby state park. Several eclectic restaurants and gift shops are nearby. Beautiful area!

We truly enjoyed our stay @ Carrie’s cottage. The communication was easy and they responded immediately. The cottage is private and cozy! The proximity to hiking and activities was perfect! Would love to come back again.

We loved staying at Carrie’s Cottage! We were on our annual Gal’s trip! The 3 of us are all cousins. The house was emasculate clean and such a homey vib. We felt so comfortable in the cottage it felt like we were staying at grandma’s house. The little things matter to me like having liquid hand soap at all the sinks. Lol! We had everything available that we needed to have a great time during our visit in the area. The surrounding grounds were quiet and serene. Carrie’s Cottage location was conveniently located to hiking, kayaking and restaurants. We highly recommend to stay at Carrie’s Cottage if you visiting the Red River Gorge area.
