A lovely, quiet getaway. The cabin was clean and provided everything we needed for a relaxing weekend. Enjoyed the peaceful surroundings and the proximity to some great trails for a short hike. A solid choice for a quick escape.

We rang in the New Year at Calaboose Retreat, and it was unforgettable! The cabin was beautifully decorated for the holidays, and the kitchen was so well-stocked, making our festive meals a breeze. The views from the deck were stunning, even in winter. Can't wait to come back!

The cabin was adequate for our short stay before Christmas. It was relatively clean, but we did have a minor issue with the hot tub which was resolved. It's a decent option if you're looking for basic accommodations in the area.

Great place for a short Thanksgiving break! The cabin had a wonderful, rustic charm but with all the modern comforts. We particularly enjoyed the firepit under the clear Kentucky sky. Very serene and relaxing, just what we needed.
