My family and I enjoyed our time here at Red River Barnhouse. Very secluded, great views and just a good ol time to get away from the busy world. The cabin is clean with the exception of the bathroom floor (master) looked like it haven’t been mopped for awhile and I called prior to check in to ask for sheets for the pull out couch and upon arrival none where available at the cabin. The drive to the cabin isn’t bad at all I would recommend a 4WD vehicle because of gravel driveway. And if you like to cook bring an extra cooking pan or skillet because the selection is bare minimum, and the dishwasher doesn’t seem to be in the best condition. I would like to stay again in the future if those few things I mentioned were taken care of. Overall it was pleasant stay the hot tub was a huge hit!

The RED BARN CABIN is very beautiful inside and out, tucked away in the scenic hills of KY. The location is very quiet, with exceptional views from the outside deck. This was perfect for our "FRIENDS GETAWAY", and will definitely be doing this again!!

Clean and relaxing close enough to activities really enjoyable

We took our family here recently for their spring break and had a wonderful time. The house was the perfect size for our family of 5. There are plenty of windows throughout so lots of natural light and unobstructed views of the beautiful surroundings. Everything looked practically brand new with contemporary fixtures and appliances. It was nice to be in the wilderness, yet still have the comforts of modern day life. This was our second visit to Red River Gorge and while this house was located further away from the main strip of restaurants and hiking trails than the previous house we stayed at, it wasn't too far of a drive. All of our questions about the house prior to our visit were quickly answered. We would definitely consider staying here again for future visits.
