Nestled in the lush woods next to the Muir Valley Nature Preserve in the Red River Gorge you are just a 5 minute walk from world-class climbing and hiking. Anchor Point is conveniently located for easy access to everything the Red River Gorge area has to offer – rock climbing, horseback riding, kayaking, canoeing, hiking, zip lines, fishing, restaurants, sight-seeing, and more. The Natural Bridge State Park is just 15 minutes away. Anchor Point is the perfect cabin to get away and relax in the heart of nature.
After a full day of adventure, relax and unwind on either of the 2 levels of outdoor decks with a hot tub, outdoor dining, or just sitting and enjoying the outdoors on the screened-in porch. Savor a dinner cooked on the outdoor charcoal grill.
In the evening gather around the spacious fire pit. Inside, the cabin has an upper and lower living area each with spacious seating and a smart TV. Enjoy a game of ping pong or play a chess game on the integrated board on the top of an authentic Kentucky bourbon oak barrel!
This private, easy-to-access cabin offers all the modern amenities you are looking for in the heart of the Muir Valley Nature Preserve and Climbing Area to make lasting memories!

Kitchen: Dishwasher, Stove, Microwave, Regular coffee maker/filters, toaster and other necessities to make cooking a breeze.
Main Living: Sectional seating, high-speed Wi-Fi, smart TV, all season (no heat) ambient fireplace
Lower-Level Living: Spacious TV area with a large sofa and smart TV, ping-pong table, bourbon barrel chessboard and stools, high-speed Wi-Fi. Laundry room with full size washer and dryer.
3 Bedrooms : Main floor bedroom with 1 King Bed, Two upstairs bedrooms each with a queen bed.
2 Bathrooms: Each bathroom (main floor and upper floor) is equipped with beautiful tile showers and single vanities.
Outdoor: Spacious deck (with screened in porch area), hot tub, Charcoal grill with grilling utensils, firepit with lots of seating and stylish landscaping. Please purchase firewood locally.

- Fresh linens, blankets, and towels. Essentials: toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, sponge, unscented dish soap, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash.
- Easy access, The property is accessed by a well-maintained gravel road. Trailers prohibited. Plenty of parking space.
- Pack-and-Play and high chair available upon request
- Tranquil location right in the world famous Muir Valley Climbing area! Also near Red River Gorge! Rock climbing, horseback riding, kayaking, canoeing, hiking, zip lines, fishing, restaurants, sight-seeing, and more nearby.

- There is camera surveillance of the front of the cabin and property.
* NOTE: These cabins, while offering deluxe accommodations, are in a heavily wooded area. Occasionally, guests may experience weather conditions or power outages that are out of the host's control. The hosts will do all they can to assist but are not responsible for issues beyond their control. Our owners make every effort to keep the hot tubs functioning perfectly, as they are the most requested amenity. However, mechanical problems may occur that cannot be resolved quickly in this remote area and no refunds are made if this occurs, per the terms of our rental agreement. Enjoy the many other amenities, beautiful surroundings and area adventures during your stay. No pets are permitted in or on the Rental Unit. A Minimum of $350.00 per pet will be charged to the Guest for pets brought to non-pet-friendly cabins. Please contact us as soon as possible if your plans change and you must cancel or reschedule your stay. A $50 cancellation fee applies to all cancellations, and no refunds are allowed within 14 days or less of your booked check-in date. We will work with you to reschedule your dates if your check-in date is greater than 14 days away. No refunds are permitted due to sudden inclement winter weather – but come anyway and get snowed in with us! We will accommodate late checkouts if roads are hazardous on your departure day. Please be aware that no refunds are permitted for cancellations on holiday rates, which includes but is not limited to, New Year's, Valentine's Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. For a possibility of a full refund, you will be given the option to purchase renters/trip insurance during the booking process, or you can contact us directly to add renters/trip insurance.
